Welcome

You can expect respectful continuity of care with a neuropsychological assessment or psychodiagnostic evaluation by Dr. You. This includes:

  • Thorough record review (e.g., relevant medical records, neuroimaging reports, prior assessments)
  • Clinical interview to gather relevant historical information and current symptomatology. This may also include information gathered from other informants if necessary.
  • Communication with your current providers to identify specific questions the assessment should answer.
  • Objective, comprehensive assessment of cognitive, emotional and behavioral functioning tailored to your unique needs. This typically ranges from 3-8 hours.
  • The information gathered from medical records, clinical interview and collateral sources is then integrated with scores on testing to identify factors that are contributing to difficulties in functioning and lead to personalized recommendations.
  • You will receive a written report, typically within two weeks following the evaluation, that is reviewed at a follow-up feedback session. With your consent, Dr. You relays results and recommendations to your current providers for coordination of care.
